Sewing pattern from Threads by Caroline Contains: Pants Size: 74-164 Paper Pattern. Language Swedish At last the perfect pants for kids! Because we really do want them to be comfortable and able to play, while still looking stylish right? Tyra & Todd are pull on pants with a loose fit and two pleats in the front, and they look really great on both girls and boys. Sewn with the simple waistband and without pockets they’re a quick and easy project, but for those who want to work extra with their pants we’ve included several nice details and alternatives: Front and/or back pockets; Paperbag waistband, with or without ties; Folded hem, double roll hem or pant cuffs. Sizes: 14 sizes from 74-152 (approx. 6 months to 12 years). Recommended fabric: The pattern is designed and tested for knit fabrics with 20-60% stretch and medium to medium-heavy weight (approx. 200-340 gr/m2). We recommend for example college, french terry, cotton jersey, ponte di roma, knit jacquard, and other pants fabrics with stretch. If you’re sewing the pants with pant cuffs, make sure to use ribb fabric for the cuffs since they require very good stretch and recovery. A fabric requirements chart, and size guide, can be found among the pictures. Level of difficulty: 2/3. (For confident beginners). STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL In the including tutorial you receive help from start to finish. It’s a solid and detailed description of each step in the making of this garment.
