Sewing pattern from Threads by Caroline Contains: Dress Size: 86-152 Paper Pattern. Language Swedish The Agnes cut out dress is a gorgeous dress in knit fabrics for kids. The three basic variants are sleeveless, dropped shoulders and long sleeves. You’ve got a few cool options with the skirt, and they all fit all variants. You can make the easy skirt, or a 2-tier skirt with a wide flounce. A third option is to make large topstitched pockets on the easy skirt. The skirt has a waistband with elastic, which isn’t tight over the belly, it mainly holds the dress in. The modern cut out at the sides of the bodice is a really neat detail, and easy to make. If you’d rather sew the Agnes dress without cut outs, I tell you all about this small modification. I use a binding to finish the neckline and sleeveless variants, and the instructions show you both how to make the binding visible, and non-visible. And I also recommend you to sew the skirt as "just" a skirt, it looks gorgeous. Sizes: 14 sizes from 74-152 (approx. 6 months to 12 years). Recommended fabric: The pattern is designed and tested for light- to medium weight knit fabrics with drape, and with approx. 30-50% stretch. We recommend viscose jersey, tencel jersey, modal jersey, bambu jersey and similar fabrics. Read more about supplies here. Level of difficulty: 2/3. (For confident beginners).
