It can be made with short or long sleeves, with or without a ruffle on the shoulder, or a stylish breast pocket. A perfect basic pattern for the kids' wardrobe! YOU NEED: - Fabric: Knitwear, preferably jersey (see fabric description below). College/jogging is also fine, but you should sew one size larger if the fabric has less than 30% stretch. The pattern is designed for fabrics with at least 30% stretch. Use the stretch guide in the pattern to evaluate the fabric. - (Optional): thin interfacing for the breast pocket, approx. 10x10 cm. - Sewing machine needle: Don't forget to use the right needle for your fabric, for knitted fabrics a stretch needle is usually recommended. - Other useful materials: Glue pen, matching thread for the hems, fabric scissors, needles/clips, and tape measure. About the fabric measurement table: The fabric measurement is approximate and applies to fabrics with a width of 150 cm. If you are buying new fabric for your project, please add about 20 cm just in case. The breast pocket, neck cuff and ruffles are included. The measurements are in cm.
