Language Swedish. ___________________________________________ Bonnie moon bag is a shoulder bag in two sizes. Size medium holds mobile, wallet, keys and a little more. Size Large is of course larger. Here you can pack a lot of extra. See size guide and fabric info in the tabs below and in the pictures on this page. The pattern includes 3 different pockets. All can be sewn either on the outside of the bag or on the inside. - Zipper pocket. A classic, practical and stylish. - Elastic pocket. A nice pocket that has extra space and is held together at the top with elastic. - Single pocket with push button. Can be divided into 2 or more compartments. Add a press stud at the top to close the pocket. Difficulty level: 2/3 YOU NEED: - Outer fabric: Woven fabric in medium to heavy weight (approx. 200-400 gr/m2), e.g. quilt, faux fur, teddy, corduroy, softshell, canvas and denim. Preferably a soft and flexible fabric. - Lining fabric: Lightweight woven fabric (approx. 100-200 gr/m2), e.g. cotton, viscose, polyester. - Optional: Interlining for the outer fabric. I recommend an interlining that gives some volume and softness. E.g. Vlieseline H630 or H640 which can be ironed on. I personally avoid heavy/rigid interlinings for this bag, as I prefer it with a softer look. But you can use sturdy interlinings if you want, such as S320 and Style-Vil. - Optional: Interlining for the lining fabric. Not needed, but if you want to give the lining a little more stability, use Vlieseline H200 or G700, which are thin, soft and iron-on. - Bag strap / webbing / nylon webbing: approx. 1.3 meters, with a width of 38 mm. (If you prefer to sew your own bag strap, there are instructions for it in the sewing instructions. You will need 120 cm of fabric, avoid heavy fabrics). - 1 Zipper for the large opening of the bag. Choose #5, which has a total width of about 32 mm. See length in table on previous page. Note: zippers are measured from their top stop down to the bottom stop. If you buy zippers by the meter, remember to also buy a zipper. - 2 D-rings with 38 mm width. - 2 carabiners 38 mm. - 1 adjuster buckle / regulator buckle 38 mm. YOU NEED, FOR DIFFERENT POCKETS: - For zipper pocket: 1 zipper per zipper pocket that you want in your bag. - For elastic pocket: 1 elastic band, 6-10 mm wide, approx. 35 cm long (size M) or 46 cm long (L). - For single pocket with press stud: 1-2 press studs, and PRYM pliers or other tool to attach the stud. Also use interfacing on the fabric where the button will be. GOOD TO HAVE: - Thread: for bag sewing, you can use regular polyester thread. If you have heavy fabrics and want the bag to be more durable, you can use "extra strong" thread, no. 40. You can then combine the extra strong thread with regular polyester thread in the bobbin / bobbin case. - Zipper foot, for the sewing machine. It helps you to sew close to the teeth of the zipper. - Glue pen, tape measure, fabric scissors, needles/clips, iron, and sewing machine with the appropriate needle for the fabric. Use a universal needle or microtex needle, size 80-90. Be prepared with a larger needle (universal or denim needle size 100-110) for seams that will be sewn in really thick layers of fabric.
