Alice is a top and dress with a trendy knot on the front hem. With a loose fit Alice is comfortable and play friendly all day.
Alice has a dropped shoulder which is finished with a binding, just like the neckline. You can choose to sew long sleeves, which get a nice detail with ruches close to the hem.
Alice is split along the center front piece, but you can choose to sew a whole front piece instead.
Sizes: 74-146 (approx. 9 months - 11 years)
Recommended fabric: Lightweight knit fabrics, such as jersey (cotton/lycra).
Level of difficulty: 2/3 (confident beginner)
Format: Our patterns are color-printed on high quality paper that you can use many times over. The tutorial is also color-printed, as an A4-booklet.
Techniques: Sewing bindings, sewing facings, sewing in knit fabric. All steps are explained thoroughly in the tutorial.
Note! You don't need a serger for this garment, but you can use one for most of it.
