The Alma jacket can be sewn in lots of different fabrics. It will be wonderful sewn in a light-weight, drapey fabric for summer days at the beach - but also when lined and sewn in heavy fabric for a chilly autumn. Alma can also be a gorgeous jacket for the office or a cosy jacket to wear curled up on the couch.
Alma has two lengths: short and long. And you can choose to sew it fully lined or unlined. The sewing instructions will guide you through all the options and sewing techniques.
Alma can be sewn with 3/4- or long sleeves. You can sew them lined, hemmed or with a binding. The front pockets are optional, but they make a great addition to your jacket. You can line, hem or sew them with a binding.
The Alma jacket is open in the front, but you’ve also got two options to close the jacket: sew a waistband that goes all round the jacket through loops in the side seams; or two narrow bands that make front ties.
